A third Haribo logojet was unveiled by TUIfly in April 2015. The highly colourful scheme advertised the Tropifrutti mix of gums sold by the company, which includes toucans, palm trees, passion flower, banana, mango, mandarin, blackcurrant and pineapple. The launch of the special livery went on with the possibility to win a free trip to New York -on this very aircraft- with Haribo spokeperson Thomas Gottschalk, a popular TV host in Germany. The aircraft indeed made a one-off flight from Cologne/Bonn to Newark via Keflavik, a rare occasion to see a TUIfly 737 on the other side of the Atlantic.

The success of the first Haribo Jet launched in 2008 prompted TUIfly and Haribo to design a second scheme, which was unveiled in January 2010. The design boldly personified the iconic gummy bears of the German confectionery company with metallic finish.

D-AHFM B737-8K5 TUIfly  [+] 2008-13

A partnership between TUIfly and German confectionery company Haribo developped in December 2008 when this 737 was painted all blue with red Haribo billboard titles. A giant yellow "Gold-Bear" mascot was visible on the tail; the Haribo company had sold its first Gummy bears in the 1920s and the well-known gold variant that we know today -the one the Haribo mascot on the tail refers to- appeared in 1967. The aircraft became the first flying ambassador for the company, and its success prompted the design of two further liveries in 2010 & 2015.
